Craig Priestlay Director of Skating Development

Craig is currently an elementary school teacher in Thunder Bay and is a former player at both the CIS (Lakehead University) and WHL (Edmonton Ice, Swift Current Broncos) levels. He was also a member of the 2005 Allan Cup winning Thunder Bay Bombers. Craig has been teaching Power Skating across Western Canada for over 20 years. He has been the owner and lead instructor of Superior Stride Power Skating since it's inception in 2008, and he is looking forward to many more years to come!

Mike Wehrstedt Lead Instructor

Mike has been a lead instructor for 10+ years with Superior Stride Power Skating since retiring from playing professional hockey. He brings extensive hockey experience (OHL '98-'03, CIS '03-'08, Germany '09-'11) and can connect technical skating instructions to in-game situational play. In addition, Mike is also an elementary school teacher and minor hockey coach in Thunder Bay.
